A skilled Elevate writer will draft, edit, and submit a set number of grants and reports each month, based on your existing grant calendar. This makes sense for organizations that have a senior staff member overseeing the grants function but need help with the labor-intensive drafting process.
HOW IT WORKS
When you partner with Elevate for an Ongoing Writing Retainer (OWR), we’ll review your existing grant calendar and recommend a scope of work that meets your needs. See below for our scopes of work and pricing.
We’ll assign a dedicated, skilled Elevate grant writer with a superior track record. They will meet with you regularly to review upcoming deliverables and plan a drafting schedule. During regular meetings, you’ll provide information about your upcoming grants and reports, including deadlines, background on the opportunity, templates or guidelines, and submission details.
Your Elevate grant writer will prepare, draft, and edit deliverables with your input, and submit the final approved versions to your funders in advance of the deadline.
Our OWR partners maintain their own prospect pipeline and track all grant deliverables. They also are responsible for the overall strategy of their grant program, including setting revenue targets and developing revenue projections.

PRICING AND SCOPE OF WORK OPTIONS
When you partner with Elevate for an Ongoing Writing Retainer, we’ll work with you to select a scope of work that meets your needs for grant writing support. We determine an appropriate Scope of Work based on the number of deliverables – grant LOIs, proposals, and reports – that you need written each month. Packages start at up to 2 deliverables per month for a monthly fee of $3,500 and scale up in increments of 2 deliverables.
Wondering if this expense is worth the investment? If your organization’s revenue from grants is more than 3x the annual cost of Elevate’s services, then this is a good investment. If not, you may be applying for the wrong opportunities or pursuing too many grants with a low likelihood of success.
