Mary joined Elevate because she believes every organization with a bold mission deserves a compelling story and the funding needed to bring that mission to life. She is passionate about partnering with organizations that are creating meaningful change in their communities and helping them build sustainable funding strategies through thoughtful grant writing and development support.

Before joining Elevate as a Senior Grant Writer, Mary managed a portfolio of nonprofit clients, leading grant strategy, proposal development, prospect research, and grants management for organizations working in education, health, human services, international development, and community development. Throughout her career, she has worked alongside organizations of all sizes, translating complex programs into compelling proposals that inspire funders to invest in lasting impact. Her professional experience also includes higher education, nonprofit communications, and international development.

Mary earned a Master in International Development and a BS in Public Health from the University of Arizona. Her interdisciplinary background continues to shape her commitment to advancing equitable access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunity through community-centered solutions. She enjoys collaborating with nonprofit leaders and believes the strongest partnerships are built on trust and a shared commitment to creating positive change.

Outside of work, Mary loves traveling, discovering new cuisines, music, and chipping away at her ever-growing book list.
