Evan joins the Elevate team as a grant writer with a passion for community economic development and equity initiatives. Before Elevate, Evan was the Grant Writer for a Community Action Agency based in Waterbury, CT where he helped to secure funding for capacity building projects at the agency as well as funds to directly support the many social service programs offered to the community. Evan has also served as an Operations Coordinator for a nonprofit community center where he developed a volunteer training program to improve guest relations and repeat attendance.

Evan graduated from Southeastern University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. He believes that his experience in writing in a marketing context and his passion for nonprofit work were the two factors that led him to a career in grant writing.

Outside of work, Evan enjoys cooking, walking around local parks, playing golf, and spending time with his family.
