Julie Rienhardt

Senior Grant Writer

Julie Rienhardt is a nonprofit leader with over 25 years of experience in organizational development, fundraising, and grant strategy. She is driven by a deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and community-led solutions, and she is passionate about helping mission-driven organizations grow and thrive. Before joining Elevate, Julie provided editing and consultative support to individuals applying for grants with the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation. She also managed a national AmeriCorps grant and led development efforts for her local homeless shelter. Previously, Julie was the Founder and Executive Director of Imagine Supported Living Services, a community-based organization that continues to serve individuals with developmental disabilities through person-centered supports. She has secured multi-million-dollar funding from federal, state, and private sources, and she offers strategic guidance on proposal development, funding strategy, and organizational capacity. Julie brings deep expertise in human services, disability advocacy, housing, healthcare, and community-based initiatives, with a focus on inclusive systems and long-term impact.

Julie’s volunteer leadership includes serving on the Missoula County Food Policy Advisory Committee, nine years as a trustee with the Camphill Association of North America, and leadership roles with the San Andreas Regional Center, where she chaired the Service Provider Advisory Committee. She also served as a board member at large with Housing Choices Coalition.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys gardening, biking, hiking, and spending time with her family, including her beloved rescue pets. She brings a hands-on, heart-forward approach to all she does.
