Courtney Bridges is a Senior Grant Writer at Elevate, where she lives and breathes the art of getting organizations the funding they deserve. With over a decade of experience as an Executive Director—most notably steering the Artists Association of Nantucket through waves of financial and programmatic growth—Courtney knows what it takes to make an organization thrive. Before that, she ran an early education and care facility, sharpening her management chops while navigating the wild world of early childhood care. Now, at Elevate, she gets to do what she once only dreamed of: helping nonprofits land those elusive grants that keep the lights on and the mission alive.

Courtney earned her undergraduate and master’s degree at Ohio University. Mid career, she was invited into the founding class of the NonProfit Leadership and Management program at Tufts University. Armed with both a stellar education and hard-earned practical wisdom, she’s the grant-writing guru every nonprofit wishes they had in their corner.

When she’s not writing grants or brewing up her next cup of coffee, you’ll find Courtney listening to audiobooks. Having moved to the midwest, she embraces those long drives by maxing out her library audio book subscription. Prior to living in Ohio, Courtney spent 15 years on an island. She has saltwater in her veins and loves the ocean, surfing, and all things beach. Whether she’s on her bike or surfboard, Courtney thrives on movement and caffeine—both essential ingredients in her day-to-day survival.
